Cuisinart Coffee Maker - DCC-2000 12-Cup  —

I orignally purchased the Cuisinart DCC 2000 thinking it make a cup of coffee one at a time.  I discovered that there is a holding tank inside the maker with a warming plate.  I returned it because I was not interedted in the gimmickry of this machine.  I replaced it with the Cuisinart DCC-2600 because it makes 14 cups of coffee.  The only issue I have with Cuisinart is that their clocks are LED instead of LCD.  You can't see the clock unless it is flooded with light at the right angle not to create shadows because the clock is set deep into the maker PLUS you have to bend down to be right in front of the clock in order to see it to program it for an auto a.m. brew of coffee.  I wanted a thermos except Cuisinart only makes 10 cup coffee makers with a thermos, Cuisinart does have ONE maker with a 12 cup thermos but I would have to order it on-line because no one carries it locally.  I would have ordered it except the reviews I have read on that machine say that the top portion where the grounds are held is very flimsy so I stayed away from it and decided to purchase the DCC-2600 I can always poor the coffee into any thermos, other then the clock issue I love Cuisinart products for their quality and customer service the DCC-2600 has just about every feature you would want in a coffee maker.
