My wife and I received this as a wedding gift a year and a half ago, and we have hardly used it... one night we were making smoothies, and it suddenly stopped working. The lights and everything turn on, but the motor won't activate. Since we got it over a year ago, the warranty has long expired....

We bought this back in DEC because we have a new son and needed to puree baby food. We washed the "dishwasher safe" parts and the food processor warped...... had to order a new after the local store showed they had a new one, got there and they did not have one, had to order online and pay shipping!!!! got this one and 4 months later it's broke. I would not recommend buying this product, not sure why we had issues but all we were doing is using it about every other day to make baby food.
