The Barbie movies are a favorite in our house. I have two girls, three and six, who absolutely love these. My eight year old son is often found watching these with the girls. The star of each movie always looks like Barbie and they have the best characters. They are fairies, princesses, mermaids and of course the villians, who aren't scary like in other movies. The colors used in these movies are gorgeous and really catch your attention. We started out buying Fairytopia and quickly bought everyone of them. I enjoyed Barbie Fairytopia. My little girl wanted to see it, because she was in love with Mermaids and Fairys at the time. For those of you who are brand concious, besides the resemblence to the polular doll series, this has almost nothing to do with Barbie. I know I was nervous of her watching it at first because I feel those dolls give a poor body image to young kids, especially at her age, everything has to be pretty and thin.
