used to be the best

my grandfather wore these jeans and i have worn them for about 20 years. they used to be called "sears jeans" then they changed the name to david taylor flex jeans. i didn't care because they were still the cheapest, most comfortable, best looking jeans i've seen/ worn. when i last ordered them online... read full review »

David Taylor stretch denim pants

The pants that have replaced the David Taylor stretch denims are not any way as nice as the product they used to sell. The fabric quality is poor and the back has an weird looking elastic - it's not what's pictured on line - or at least what I received isn't. Also I was told in the store that the David... read full review »

The old David Taylor stretch jeans was probably one of the best jeans on the market. As allways some designer thought he or she had a better way of making them. I have to tell you they were wrong big time wrong. The truth be told it was probably the money thay just made them cheaper not better, like puting on less belt loops and some one out there thinks that the back pockets would look better with them in the center so that when you sit down you are setting on you wallet and not what you were suppose to set on. The best is the ajustable elastic waist band GREAT idea but for one thing some one... read full review »

It's really comfortable and cool and very strong for the price. Good color also, the fit is very good too. I like the elastic on the hip side, at times I don't have to where or use a belt, depending on the amount of things I have to carry in my pockets. It's great for work thin-cool and strong.

There is no way I can write an original review for these jeans. My words have all been used before. The main complaint in ALL of these reviews is that David Taylor fixed something that absolutely WAS NOT BROKEN and they did a LOUSY job.

Wake up, read the reviews, smell the coffee....whatever but give us back what worked for us or you will end up with warehouses of unsold jeans.

Raise the price if that is what it takes to use the quality materials of the past but don't lower the quality and goodness of design. to make the profit. That never works and this seems to be a classic example of that....

I'd give them no stars if I could.

Please bring back the  David Taylor stretch jeans.  They fit good and held up well.  These jeans look and feel cheap and the fit is no where near as good as the old jeans.  Why do you have to change things for the just sake of change.

DAVID TAYLOR JEANS

I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE QUALITY AND FEEL OF THE JEANS THAT I PURCHASED FOR MY HUSBAND. THESE WERE HIS FAVORITE BRAND OF JEANS. I WAS DISAPPOINTED THAT THEY WERE NO LONGER IN THE STORE. WHEN THE CLERK SAID THEY COULD BE ORDERED, I ORDERED 2 PAIR RIGHT AWAY. PLEASE GO BACK TO THE OLD STYLE AND FEEL.

I used to buy David Taylor Flex Jeans all the time for my husband. They are the only jeans he has ever worn. Now I can't find them. Sears has a new jean that is supposed to be a replacement, I guess, (David Taylor Stretch Jeans) and they suck. The old flex jeans had a permanent crease and had a great fit. These new things don't fit right and lost their crease after one wash. Why can't people leave a good thing alone. I want the original Flex Jeans back. I will never buy the new jeans again. I am now shopping anywhere and everywhere to find a pair of jeans my husband will wear. If anyone... read full review »

I used to get David Taylor stretch denim pants at my local Sears store. But I have not found them in stock lately. There are other David Taylor denim pants in stock but I do not like them as well as the originals. I liked the flared cuff and slight stretch in the waist and legs.

David Taylor Stretch Denim Jeans used to be wonderful, and now stink! Furthermore, you need to change the online illustration, which is of the old, wonderful jeans, and bears little resemblance to the actual product. This is a VERY BAD change, and you are driving away customers, as noted by the number of bad reviews.

David Taylor stretch jeans were the best. They were a good fabric and really worked well for the man that has to move a lot in his job and need that bit of stretch.. You had a good thing , why did you change it into these terribly made jeans. Nancy

Great Pants But Can't Find Them

Both my husband and I have been wearing these pants for yesrs now. They always look great no matter what you do to them. There is only one thing wrong with them. That is - YOU CAN NEVER FIND THEM. They are always out of stock. I just ordered two pair for my husband and two for me. We have warn the same size now for years - but these didn't fit. The hips and legs were the same but the waist was to small. what happened to them? Does anybody know how to get in touch with David Taylor? This is a great jean - but the sizing is wrong and you can never find them. Help !!!!!!!

Perfect for active work

I work as a painter and bend, crouch, lean and twist all day. These jeans are the PERFECT work jeans as they flex with your movement. It is incredible that these are so hard to find and I hope that the 32 waist jeans that I ordered online actually fit. Some people actually think that I iron my paint jeans as the crease is pretty permanent!
