“The Dewalt DC759KA is a beast. ”

I have owned Craftsman products for many years. My garage has looked like a Sears store at times. In the last 5 years though I have gotten rid of most of my Craftsman tools because they just do not last as long or have the quality that Sears and Roebuck once had. I had used a friends Dewalt as my own Craftsman drill had batteries that never allowed me to finish a job. I would use all 3 batteries for even the simplest jobs. I used the Dewalt for a job that lasted for 3 months and I was sold. The battery lasted for days under heavy use often times running a light, circular saw and the drill. When...

“Dewalt1/2 inch Cordles Drill/Driver Kit never fails”

I have enjoyed my Dewalt since day one. I also like the warranty Sears has on all of their tools. The Dewalt1/2 in,.Drill/driver has really came in handy whether working around the house or the race car. John Spelts

“Great Drill”

This is a great drill. The chuck gets tighten with ease. Charging time is an amazing 15 minutes. Its very solid. I dropped it from a top of ladder and nothing happened to it. The only drawback is a bit too heavy, the on/off bottom is a little hard to push and is in an awakard position. It would have been nice for the drill to have a level indicator.

“Best Drill I have”

I have owned several different portable drills but this one is by far the best I have ever had. The battery life is better than any other that I have owned and the two battery pack was the best price I have found.

“Dewalt DC759KA 1/2" cordless drill/driver”

I have purchased several cordless drills in my lifetime and this one by far is the best I have ever owned. First and foremost the drill is tough. I use it for everything including building a friends home. My drill put in every screw and drilled every hole in that home. Secondly, it has different speeds, working with fine wood it is a needed function. The feature I like best is the keyless chuck, no more searching around for a chuck or having to tape it on the cord. “DeWalt 18-Volt "Compact" Drill/Driver Kit”

I have owned MANY cordless drills. I started years ago with a first generation 4.8-Volt one with only 1 speed & built in battery pack, it was really worthless from the start & it only lasted a year. The last one was a Black & Decker FireStorm 14.4-Volt that lasted about 4 years, even though the batteries started to weaken after 6 months. Cordless drills certainly have come a long way since the begining. I bought DeWalt (a subsidiary of Black & Decker as of 1960) because they are found everywhere (hardware stores, tool stores, home centers, internet, etc.) so you can buy replacement batteries easily.... read full review »

The only possible problem I see is the weight of the unit. The value, performance, and reliablity along with the De Walt name speak for themselves.

DeWalt 1/2 in. Cordless Drill/Driver is a powerfull tool. Light weight and durable enough to stand up to a 1/2 corded drill.

“Craftsman's modle workes jest as good but a lot cheeper”

I have used miny different drill drivers in the past. DeWailt is way over rated, annd to pricy. The Craftsman is better unit and just as long lasting under heavy use.
