“Corded Reciprocating Saw ”

I've owned this saw a couple years now. It's done everything I asked it to do, it's had enough power to handle anything I've thrown at it, blade changing is a snap, it's a great tool, and very durable.

People keep comparing this to a Milwaukee, IMO generally speaking Dewalt tools are not as well made as Milwaukee, but you didn't pay a Milwaukee price for this saw either, y'all get what you pay for. Yes, I have a Milwaukee sawzall which I believe is better, but this Dewalt does something the Milwaukee doesn't, the 4 blade positioning comes in extremely handy especially when needing to...

“Amazing strength and durability”

This saw is perfect for the job that allows you 120v access.  I have both the corded DeWalt saws - all and the 18 volt DeWalt XRP saws - all.  Both are very similar when comparing weight, durability, strength, etc...  The one thing that puts the corded one about the battery operated is the ability to keep working.

“Love this saw!”

I asked for and received this saw for Christmas, and absolutely love it. DeWalt tools in general are a cut above the competition, and this is no exception. And it was actually the same price as other brands Sears was featuring with comparable motors. The 4-position blade clamp, plus the lever action for blade release make it very easy to use. And it is just a beast - goes through some nasty stuff without a problem. I would highly recommend this saw over the competition.

“Best for the money”

I purchased this saw based upon my experience with DeWalt power tools in the past. As a cabinet maker I have owned and used tools from various manufacturers before DeWalt was really even recognized as a force in power tools. Since that time, I have been more than impressed with their quality and bang-for-the-buck and consistency in their products regardless of the type of tool. This particular saw is very comfortable to use, nice balance. Do yourself a favor though, spend the extra money for good blades! You can have a great tool but without qaulity blades, it really doesn't matter. BTW, easy blade... read full review »

“Awesome tool”

My favorite and most used tool in my garage...it even replaced my broker down chainsaw. I've sawed everything from pipe to drywall/studs to trees. It handles everything. Never had one problem with it.

“Lots of power!!!”

My dad had a Dewalt Reciprocating Saw and loved it. He lost it sometime a year or so ago. I cought one on here at a decent sale price and snatched it up. Just like my Dad's this one has power and comes highly recomended!
