DeWalt Delivers again

This is a fantastic saw. The fit and finish is superb, the stops are well made, and the saw moves very smoothly from stop to stop. There is very little kick when the blade starts and stops, and the included blade is great for trim work, moldings, etc. It cuts effortlessly through almost anything you throw at it. The base is very well made and very professional looking. The high fence is a plus, and helped me ensure a square cut on larger pieces. Another huge plus with this saw is the handle. Had a ProTech 10" for 10 years and paid as much for it as this DeWalt. Amazing how prices have come down and quality up. Quality of DeWalt fit and finish looks and feels much better. Blade Brake works smoother and does not kick saw nearly as much as my old ProTech. I wish I had this saw for a crown molding project I did last year as the blade brake is smoother causing less chance for damaging finished cut. I am even comfortable with my sons using it to help on projects. Machining on base and squareness of saw out of the box is superb. Saw sets sets up smoothly with positive stops. Quality Saw

I always try to buy quality tools, even if I have to settle for fewer features. The craftsman 10" sliding compound miter with laser was slightly more cost wise, and I truely thought hard about it. I compared the 2 side by side and couldn't walk away from the DeWalt because of the quality difference. Sure, there's features I would like in the DeWalt, (80T blade, slide, laser) but not at the price I paid. It went from the Box (great Box by the way), to my work bench, no fuss, no adjustments, great saw. I would recommend this saw to any do-it yourselfer or contractor. A truly great tool

I bought this saw about six years ago and it has never given me problem of any sort. Out of the box the blade and table were perfectly aligned. Thousands of cuts later it is still in perfect alignment without ever having to make an adjustment. Changing miter angles is quick, simple and accurate. I'm a fairly active diy'er and have used the saw to build fences, decks, playsets, install flooring and moldings. I built a rolling cart for the saw so I can use it in the garage or drag it out in the driveway, so it's always handy to use. Since buying this saw, my circular saws see very little use... review »

10" DeWalt Miter Saw

No workshop should be without a miter saw and the 10 " DeWalt is truly an exceptional saw. It gives you great value for your bucks and performs exceptionally well. All of the angle cuts are easy to set on the saw for anything you want to cut. It does so many things it would be hard to do my woodworking without it. I would definitely recommend this saw to anyone doing woodworking.

This is by far the best miter saw that I have ever used. I recently had a Ryobi miter saw that was just ok. With the Dewalt miter saw the cuts are smooth every time. It is a bumer that it did not come with the verticle clamp. Although it is $200 it is well worth the money. I would definately buy it again.

I have used many Miter Saws, with and with out the lazer. This is by far the best saw that I have used. I love it. Don't worry about the price, or no lazer. Out of the box it was square & all angles were on the money. You won't be dissapointed with this saw.

Very nice quality. Cuts accruately. Is made of good materials. It is very easy to set up. Has nice clear markings on it. I would highly recomment this saw to anyone.
