“One of most convenient coffee makers I've ever owned”

For whatever reason, many of us keep our coffee makers on the counter, under shelving, pull out the coffeemaker to load, then put it back under the counter. This coffee-maker has a convenient pull-out drawer so you just pour in the water, load the coffee and go.

“Don't hold your breath”

waiting for coffee from this product. We needed to program our coffee maker for 45 minutes before we woke up in the morning in order to have a pot ready to drink. Oh, did I say a pot? “good .... so far”

So far so good. I have read the negative reviews, but decided the sale price was too good to pass up. I'm glad I made the purchase! The "Aroma" option on the brewer just makes a fantastic tasting cup of coffee!!! No leaks thus far, and I'm very happy!

“Do not honor the warranty”

While it was working, the unit performed better than I expected. I liked the convenience of keeping it under the cabinet while being able to fill it with water. However, after 3 months, it stopped working, and now 2 months later I still cannot get a replacement unit from Delonghi. When I originally contacted them they asked me to cut off the end of the power cord and mail it to the company with a handling charge. Now every time I call them, it's "on back order" and will be shipped "within 2 -weeks".

“patience is a virtue”

I purchased this item because it is shorter then other coffee makers which makes it stay under the kitchen cabinets full time. It does assist the owner in optimizing counter space. I do like the looks, style, and front load water feature of the item, but that is where it all stops. The overall performance of the unit is lackluster at best. It takes 31 minutes to brew a full pot {yes, a meger 12 cups} of coffee. If you use the aroma enhancing feature of this item, it takes 43 minutes to accomplish the same goal of brewing a pot of coffee. “I LOVE COFFEE!”

This coffee maker is awesome!!!! The door pulling forward for access to the grounds basket and water reservior is a welcome change over a traditional coffee maker. I think the aroma button is a nice feature but it does slow the brewing process significantly

“It's like it was made for me!”

I've had this coffee maker for 3 months now and love it!  I'll be upfront, it DOES take longer to brew (esp on the aroma setting) than other machines I've owned. This doesn't affect me 99.9% of the time bc I use the programmable timer each morning. If I make a pot at a time other than morning (for guests, for ex), I will just make it a bit earlier than needed. No biggie.  The main reason I purchased this is the front loading "swing arm" feature.  For decades I've hated pulling my entire unit out from under the cabinet to load it!! The ease at which I can pour the water and load the filter FAR...
