“Nice for DIY work”

Delta 10 in. 13.0 amp Compound Miter Saw — 

I have the older model which is still running strong after approx. 4 years of remodeling. I have replaced every piece of trim in the house as well as completed numerous misc. projects. Reliability is great. The dust collection system works well and I have not had to replace the blade yet. My model came with expandable side fences which are very helpful. My only complaint would be the lack of a dual bevel miter. The blade will only tilt to the left which causes me to stop, plan, and figure out how to cut the other side. Luckily, I don't have to use that feature very much. The left to right swivel works great and is reliable. Overall, it is an awesome tool to have. If you catch it on sale, it is well worth it. At full price, I would consider other models with the dual bevel. For a little more, I would recommend a laser guide which makes things easier.
