I like the light weight nature of this boot but sometimes you need a more waterproof boot but good for dry applications.
The Die-hard boots are very comfortable and light weight. After wearing the 1st pair for over a year I jump at the chance to buy 2 pairs when i saw them on sell.
I picked these shoes up while traveling in Pennsylvania and I found them very comfortable,lightweight and stylish for work.
I work as a cable tech. These boots were a blessing to have since I have small feet (size 7) and they are hard to fit. These boots fit perfectly which is a first. I wear them year round; they are very comfortable and keep feet dry, warm, and cool whatever need be. The only draw back I could think of is that I have had them for a year and the stitching around the toe area is starting to come apart. Still, they are well worth the price and I am thinking about buying another pair since they are on sale again right now.
My husband has just bought his second pair of these boots (in 5 years). They are comfortable and don't get too hot in the summer and are warm in the winter.
He was working construction in a variety of enviornments.
He is currently doing landscaping and these boots are just right for the job.
Would buy them again. Great job Sears/Die Hard brand boots!
I can't say enough about these DieHard 6" boots. I usually ruin boots in 4-6 months, but these boots are still going strong after almost 7. I bought a second pair on sale.
I'm getting ready to purchase my 3rd pair. I'm a full time meat cutter. 40 hours a week in blood, fat, slime, soap, sanitizer, water, and all other liquids associtated with a meat cutting room. I experimented with a more expensive national brand and they fell apart in 8 months. These normally last me a year.
I recently purchased a pair of these 1) the sale price was very good & 2) they appeared to be like a tacht boot. I must say that I have tried dozens of boots over the last 20 yrs trying to find something that would provide comfort, durability and would not feel like I was wearing cinder blocks on my feet. For the last 6 years I was wearing a decent pair of another brand but they were terribly bulky and heavy. I feel like I'm wearing a pair of loafers now except in high top & these are even waterproof! read full review »The Work Boot is a very good product. I have worn them for approximately one month and I am quite satisfied. They are comfortable and I do not have any complaints. I have already recommended them to some co-workers. I purchased these online and the first order was cancelled. I consequently contacted consumer service to re-order without further problems.
About 3 years ago my son told me about these boots. And I was in the market for a pair of boots because I was having trouble with my feet, plantar fasciitis, So I went and purchased a pair of them. And eventually my feet healed so now 3 years later I'm into my 3rd pair. And I have literally worked my work boots to death. Being a chef I'm on my feet all day and have spilled my share of food and soaps on the boots and they just take the punishment and kept on handling the punishment.
