manufacturing defect

There was a manufacturing defect in my shoe. A bump on the inside of the heel. It caused minor discomfort at first. After 11 weeks the defect became worse suddenly. By the time I got home one day after walking 2 miles to and from work, I had a large sore on my heel. Sears refused to honor the 90... read full review »

I have purchased Die Hard shoes in the past.  These are cheap imitations.  The uppers have no ventilation, my feet sweat terribly,  they may be man-made materials(?).  The heel slips despite the rest of the shoe fitting.  They are difficult to tie tightly with the plastic top lace hooks.  I would not buy them again despite the $28 price.

I have purchased both the oxford and the 6" boot. The oxford is a "good"shoe when it is on sale. When its not on sale, you can buy a better shoe for the same money. The 6" boot runs on the small side and maybe it will stretch with time, but I have not gotten there yet. I don't wear them very ofen because they are too snug and make my feet sweat.

These were purchased for my high school son for working at Culver's.

He works in the kitchen and when he went from dry floor to wet, he said it was like being on ice.  Not good.

We returned them and bought 'Shoes For Crews' on line.

The difference between the 2 pair:  Sears has large tread on the bottom.   The Shoes for Crews has a very different bottom that is working beautifully.

5 stars

These shoes are very comfortable and durable. I work in a kitchen, and the non-slip soles are great. I usually go through 3 or 4 pair of work shoes in a year, but these lasted almost a full year before I needed to get a new pair. I bought 2 pair - just so I'll have the next "new" pair ready when these wear out.

Great Work Shoes!

I am VERY tough on work shoes and easily go through multiple pairs in a year. I have had these for 6 months now and they are still in great shape (which is amazing for me). This shoe offers great durability and comfort for the value (especially when compared to other High End work shoes). I cannot say enough about them. I truly hope that they are never discontinued - NEVER.

Die Hard Duty

When I first saw these in the store I tried them and have told everyone on our fire department about how good they were for comfort and wear. Now 15 of our 18 man department wears them. There is no better shoe on the market for firemen and workers in general.Comfort, wearability, looks and non slip bottom make this shoe a great value.

Shoes

I love these shoes. They are great for work, but I can't seem to find them in the stores anywhere. I recently went to several Sears locations and they were not in the store. I really hope these shoes are not being discontinued. As soon as I wear these shoes out I run and get another pair. I also love these shoes for riding my motorcycle because of the non-slip sole.

I bought this shoe to work a security position and they are great for walking and standing all day. I did buy some extra work insoles sold at Kmart to help cushion my feet. They seem like they will last alot longer than anything I have had in the past.

quality consturction

This pair of shoes have lasted me longer than any other shoe I have ever worn before. The sole has not cracked (that's where I wear my shoes out first, usually within 5 months.) The material is of good manufacture. I really enjoy the oil and slip resistant soles, as I drive a truck and encounter a variety of petroleum based products in the truck stops.
