Bought the DieHard Portable Power 950 to power camping accessories and for the occasional jump-start. Worked okay for the first several months, then would discharge very rapidly (for example, the light would go dim after only 30 minutes). Within the first year, it would no longer charge past 65%, despite my carefully charging it after every use and avoiding deep discharges. read full review »This unit works when fully charged, but then won't hold a charge more than a few days when stored. It makes a horrible high pitched noise until it finally charges again - anybody know how to make it stop the noise.
Not happy at all, nothing but trouble. Wouldn't charge right, display finally shows 100% charge go to use it for a dead battery, nothing. Owned for 18 months, used 5 times. Waste of money.
