LockedStopped working!!!!

My kenmore ultra wash is 3 years old, It stopped working, can anyone help me?

Is there a code that u can push to get it started?

The last one I owned laster 35 years. The one I have now has been in the shop three times in the past 2.5 years. Same Old, Same Old. They make ******* China and tons of money in the USA. and The end user gets it where the sun don't shine. No pride, no dignity, absentee owners and remote manufacturers. Spell so long quality.

Try shuting the braker off then put it back on

If the unit is made by Whirlpool and the "clean light" is blinking, press the buttons in the following sequence: heated dry - normal wash - heated dry - normal wash.

After the above sequence, all of the light should come on. Push "cancel" and the machine should be reset. The cause of the blinking clean light is usually the supply water is too cool and the washer's heating element is not heating the water enought.

The lights don't work, it is like it is not plugged in. DEAD, I hate this, it is only 3 yrs old. I called sears to ask about a code, "oh no, u have to have someone come out and look at it." Sears also suggest that I buy a warrenty for 202.00, then they would come out.

A $9.99 Craftsman non-contact voltage sensing tool (plus a couple of AAA batteries) will quickly tell you if you have power coming to the unit.

It's also handy to tell you if any of your DIY projects still have power coming to them (reverse hot/ground wires).

There is a thermal fuse next to the controller, they have a fuse kit to replace it that comes with instructions how to intsall it.

Where do you get the fuse kit?  At sears?

Also, where is the control unit at? In the base or in the door?
