This lamp is a cute kids lamp and appealing to my son who is almost 3. The best part? It's really taught him to be independent. It's the only lamp in the house that he can easily turn off and on by himself with the pull chain. It sits on his bookshelf and now my son is capable of getting up in the morning, turning on his light and playing in his room without waking up the entire household. Thank goodness for the pull chain! I had no idea when I bought this lamp how much I would appreciate it!!!!!!
This is one of the cutest gifts it doesn't seem to really have an age limit tagged to it, so it makes a great gift for a wide range of children. Also its safe as far as not having to worry about lead.
