My 4-yr-old was going through a "scared of monsters" phase and I happened to see the Disney bed tents on sale at Sears.  We had just finished decorating her room with a Tinkerbell theme and the Tinkerbell bed tent matched perfectly.  We also live in a 150-yr-old drafty house and her room is freezing...

My kids each got one of these tents for Christmas. They were very easy to assemble, but the quality of the fabric is so poor that it ripped (on both tents) within hours of being set up. They did not sit right on the beds, and the lights didn't work at all. Both of my kids were very upset that they had... read full review »

Do not buy, waste of money, broke within 24 hours of assembly. Bought two of these, one for my daughter, and a toy story one for my son, dome light is cool, and the concept is awesome, but its so crappy quality, it doesn't last long. I bent a pole just trying to put it on the bed, and it wouldn't stay put, the elastic strap across the bottom snapped off as soon as we got it on right, but my daughter and son tried climbing in it together, its very roomy, but both of them playing in it, it didn't hold up, the poles are cheap plastic and the fabric rips easy, waste of money.

I actually purchased mine from ********, and wanted to forewarn anyone and everyone about this product. My 2 year old daughter was playing in her room with this on the floor of her room since it would not fit on her bed. Since it is made so poorly, with cheap materials and it sags and falls when placed on any surface other than the floor. She stumbled on it against it and one of the pipes that support it snapped and cut her on the side of her forehead slightly about her eyebrow. She HAD TO GET 4 STITCHES and that was after waiting in the ER for 4 hours. Needless to say, never having to take... read full review »

Disney Bed Tent

I purchased two Disney bed tents for my daughters, aged 4 and 5. One was Tinkerbelle the other Disney Princesses. I was sorely disappointed in the quality of these items. The fabric tore before the tent was fully assembled on one and the other was so unsteady one it was put together that I refused to have it on my 4 yr olds bed. Furthermore, there was a strip of fabric that ran across the bottom opening of the tent, which I assume was to maintain tension. This "strip" does not lay flat against the mattress and there is a large space between. This seemed incredibly unsafe in that a child could... read full review »

Cheap, cheap and cheap

My 5 yr old got this as a birthday gift and was thrilled to get it. That is until we set it up, one of the plastic rods bent and nearly broke, and 3 tears occured in it. This was all within the 1st few minutes. The elastic bands that hold it on the bed are short and 3 of them came undone the 1st time she climbed inside it. Oh and the free push light that came with it did not work from the start, my husband tried to fix it and discovered the circuit board in it does not work. I would really like to return it but my daughter's heart is set on keeping it, even if it just last a few days.  Look for...

My daughter got this for her 5th birthday, and she loves it. It's very cute, and the fact that she can sleep in a tent in her bed is very cool. However, from a mother's standpoint, it is very poorly designed. The straps that are supposed to hold it to the bed, do not. Maybe it's because she has a pillowtop, but they don't stay down and then the tent sags down. I would take it back, but she really loves it. It would be nice if it came with a sheet that had tent pole pockets in the corners that would support it. I would not recommend buying this product.

excellent purchase.

i bought this on saturday for my daughter for christmas. my daughter just turned two and she likes to hide in the clothes basket and cabinets in the house. i thought i would buy this for her so that she could really use her imagination and be safe at the same time. i really like the bright colors and the fact that she can even put it on her bed is even better because once i find something she likes she will play with it basically all day. so her and her elmo live can have all the fun they want in her tent.

My daughter got this for christmas last year and has so much fun in it that we are giving this as an idea for our other children.  Though the quality isn't the best and I wish they would have spent a little more money on materials, she loves playing in it!  It stays on the bed, unlike other reviews I read.  The one thing I have found is that it is better for older children, maybe over 4....i had to show my younger daughter how to avoid breaking the one strap by the door.  We don't use this daily either...it is only put on the bed by me, to avoid breaking, and taken down by me as well.  Just...
