“Great tool for artists.”

As an artist, being able to cut fine detail is quite important.  The 10.8 V Cordless Dremel is great for that because I can work wherever I need to without having to find an outlet.  While I do not work much with metal,  using it for plaster, wood, and things such as hydrostone.. it is great!

“Great tool for just about anything”

I got this tool awhile back and I have been constantly amazed by what all that I've been able to do with this tool.

For starters, I used this tool to cut out some holes in drywall for dropping wires and installing more plugs.

Then I've used this tool to cut holes in 1x4 lumber while making birdhouses.

Then I used this tool to polish some antique silver pieces that belonged to my great grandmother.

Then I used this tool to cut some bent nails out of some lumber so people won't hurt themselves.

“Very versatile; bought one for my son; very pleased with mine”

So, so many uses.  Great speed and endurance and terrific versatility with added attachments.  Charges quickly.  Have used it on very fine jobs for hobbies and some rougher tasks for automotive uses.

“This Cordless Dremel is Awesome!”

This thing is great! It does everything that my old dremel tool did but without the cord to get in the way. It is lightweight and surprisingly powerful.

“Definitely not up to Dremel quality”

Had a corded Dremel for years that was great. Purchased  this one and the spindle lock was stripped straight out of the box. Returned it for a replacement. After the second use the spindle lock was stripped on it. Piece of cheap plastic junk, buyer beware!

“Poor construction”

Have you every had a tool that when you really need it, the battery it almost dead? This is the one. My major gripe is that a bit was a little tight in the collet and when I went to remove it, the spindle lock stripped easily. The plastic housing spread apart. Now it still has the same bit in it, but that doesn't matter because the battery needs to be in the charger all the time anyway. Not a quality tool. Also it lacks any power. From now on I'll stick with a corded model.

I have owned several Dremel rotary tools over the years, and I have tried a few different manufacturers, but have always come back to Dremel. The 10.8v cordless dremel rotary tool is a very high-quality and reliable tool. I has more power than most people need, and can match almost all corded tools for performance. “So far, great!”

I have only had this product for short time but so far I love it. I use many rotarys tools with my wood carvings. This one charged up fast and held it's charge great for me. Love the LED battery life meter and the variable speeds dial. My only negetive thing is the housing is made of a light platsic. I am afraid that the unit may last longer then it's housing. Afraid if I would drop it, would bust to pieces.. so being very careful with it in that respect ;)

“Great all around tool”

This is the second dremel type tool I have owned. I literally ruined the first one which was not dremel brand. This one lives up to it's promises with power and battery life and I am thoroughly pleased with it so far. I keep it at my desk so that it is easy to get to for many different projects even though it was purchased with only 1 project in mind. The only reason I gave 3 stars for reliability is because I haven't had it long enough to know if it will outlast my other one or not.

“not happy”

Got this dremel when my corded dremel broke down after 6 yrs of everyday use. This cordless one would be great for taking care of little tasks around the house. But it is Terrible for serious work!!! If you plan on using this dremel for cutting metal frequently, beware, it will not get the job done!!! has a safety feature that turns it off for overloading the motor to save amperage that becomes very annoying when cutting through metals even as soft as 0.050" aluminum. “Excellent”

After using a cordless Dremel tool, I don't want to use my corded one anymore. This tool uses lithium ion batteries that stay charged for years when stored instead of a month or so for other batteries. When you grab it to use it will have charge in the battery. Tool has a lot of torque and duration between charges. Not having to find an outlet every time I want to use this tool is really convenient. Most of my tools are rechargeable and this one has the best battery technology.

“Handy tool”

This cordless Dremel is so much more convenient than the corded ones. Plenty of power for everything I've used it for around the home - mainly sanding, grinding and polishing. Long battery life. Be sure to get the Dremel chuck - you can change accessories easily - no wrench needed.
