Dremel 6300-05 1.5 amp Corded Multi-Max Oscillating Tool Kit —

The Dremel Multi-Max is a small hand-held oscillating power tool.  This new group of cutting tools vibrate instead of rotating.  I have used this tool in my handy-man business for the better part of a year now.  The tool claims to cut a variety of material concluding soft metal.  What impresses me the most is the ability to cut molding and casting, while still on the wall, with no damage to the surrounding surfaces.  One customer, who gave me a nice tip, could not believe how neatly I removed a small piece of molding to access a phone wire.

The tool comes with a limited supply of blades.  Different blades must be purchased separately for jobs such as grout removal.  Blades change is simple with the supplied hex key.  You can set the blade at various angles to get into tight places.

This tool take a bit to get used to.  The Multi-Max seem to up heat up after some use indicating it may be a little short on power.   I may have pressed to hard and not let the tool do the work.  All in all it's a great addition to my tool collection and I highly recommend it.
