“Needs Improving Dyson DC14 Animal Vacuum”
As an Executive Housekeeper I am around different vacuums. My staff recently used two of the Dyson DC 14 Animal Vacuums. We were not pleased. Granted I know the vacuum is not a commercial grade cleaner but other non-commercial grade cleaners outlasted both Dyson.

I have had a filter queen and a Kirby and all of the other vacuums. I have to say this one is the best vacuum and I will continue to buy one of these!

I love this vacuum. It is easy to move around and easy to use. It has great cleaning ability too! Well worth the price to me!
This Vacuum is by far the best one I have owned. It always amazes me what it picks up. Easy to use no fussing with bags!
I purchased the Dyson Animal in 2006 after we bought our new ranch home. We had been living in a 3 story victorian and had central vacuum in that house. After a few years I felt the Electrolux central vacuum wasn't doing a good job. It was also a pain to clean out. I purchased a Dirt Devil first and it was horrible. Not rugged or easy to use.
I have found the Dyson to always get the job done. I am amazed by how much dirt it picks up and how easy it is to empty and keep clean. It makes vacuuming the home a quick and painless chore!
the only thing i don't care for is that hair gets wedged around the belt on this model. the only way to get it out is to remove the bottom plate, and slide the belt over, and actually cut the hair off, it can accumulate to a rediculous amount of haie due to the grooves on either side of the belt. otherwise, i love this vacuum, it has great suction and the attachments are wonderful!
I have four dogs and a family of four. Needless to say, when I find the time to clean and vacuum, I need to have a vacuum that does an excellent job the first time. This vacuum is the best I have ever owned at picking up dog hair and dust and I have owned a few vacuums in my life. It is extremely easy to maneuver around the furniture, under beds, etc.
While I really didn't want to purchase a dyson, I have to say I am happy that I did. I do a lot of vacuuming in my home-pets, kids, lots of in and out traffic. I really needed something that would be easy to use and do a good job. I have always liked a canister vacuum because I liked the availability of the attachments and I felt I could use it on a variety of things-baseboards, get into crevices, etc...

This is a nice vacumn. Not the strongest suction, but more than adequate. A bit hard to move around and a little heavy. Easy to emply the collected dust. The hose is a little difficult to use when new, really stiff and inflexible. OK.
After much research, we finally decided to buy a dyson vacumm. It was a difficult decisionsince they are not cheap! But, so far (5 months) we have been pleased with it. From the looks of the canister it sure seems to pick up alot, although at first I thought our old bissel had stronger suction. It's very easy to use and manuever, and the attachments work great. The best thing is no more smell while you vacuum! The worst thing is the price.
I have 2 St.Bernards and this is the only vacuum I have found that picks up all thye hair and keeps going and we love it!
