Best paint ever!

My dad used to paint houses for a livng.  9 out of 10 times he would always use Easy Living Paint - especially when it as left up to him to pick the paint.  He always told me not to waste my money on other products.  When I grew up and decided to paint my house, I went to the local hardware store...

Most Helpful Critical Review

I have used Easy Living paint many times in the past and for the most part, am happy with it considering the price per gallon.   My last experience, however, was not a good one.  The woman who helped me mixed up my paint order so I had the wrong color in several gallons of paint.   I took some of...

Easy Living Paint is the only paint we use.   It goes on and covers nicely.   Looks great and an easy clean up also.  We were told about this paint and have become believers in it.

I always look for a bargain, especially now. Sears Easy Living Paint works well, tons of colors to keep everyone happy, and a price that can't be beat!. And tomorrow from 9am to 12pm it's on sale. See you there!

The paint is good quality. It does take 2 coats for coverage over dark colors but it clearly hides it after two coats-no bleed through.  I found the paint to be easily maintenanced as black scuff marks readily cleaned up using soap and water.

We've almost always used Sears paint.  It is great to work with and reasonable compared to other paint products.  The paint department people were very helpful.  Unfortunaltely, Sears discontinued the paint we had previously used, the Ultra Light Easy Living Satin paint and had a new paint called just Ultra.  The warranty is good but as with most other paints when painting over darker colors, the one coat really doesn't apply.  In addition the color we had purchased, Candlelight, was also no longer available and they didn't have any record of what combination of tints made up this paint. ... read full review »

Easy Living 15 year

I purchased Easy Living 15 year Chestnut Brown Flat and Semi-gloss and am happy with it. Has a nice color and went on the walls well.

It OK

I bought several gallons of Easy living paint becasue ti was on sale the Sat. of Memorial Day weekend.  Specificcally, I bought 3 gallons mixed to the same color ( I thought) that my sons picks out for their rooms.  The problem was with the mixing of the paint.  The paint was a yellow -orange tint.  The first gallon was a little more yellow than it the second, and while the second was used for the second coat, I found that the coverage was not good.

The kids still like it, but I'm not happy.  Still, the paint cost about half of what you'd pay for the slightly better quality stuff at other...

Easy Living paint was the best paint. We have always used it. My mom swears by it. Unfortunately Sears for some strange reason decided to stop carrying it. Now we're trying to find out where else to find this paint or something similar to it but so far no luck. I keep hoping Sears will bring it back. It says on and you don't have to use too many coats. It usually covers in one coat.

I grew up with Sears paints in and on our homes.  The name says quality.  I'm in my 60's and still using Sears paints for the interior of my home.  Today I'm using Easy Living Satin Wall and Trim for one of the bedrooms.  It looks great already and I know the color will last for years to come.
