“Great product, but no spare base???”
Eddie Bauer Adventure Travel System - Franklin —
I've been using this car seat & stroller for 3 months now for my baby girl. We didn't have a lot of money to spend, but when I started shopping for travel systems, I started figuring out how important it would be to have a stroller comfortable for my child and enjoyable & convenient for me... afterall you're usually using the stroller at the mall, the fair, walking around the lake...places you intend to be for at least an hour or 2. So we decided to spend the extra money on this stroller & boy was it the best decision we ever made on baby gear! The stroller is up & back down in one click of a button, it's not so heavy that I can't lift it in & out of my car, the car seat goes quickly & securely into the stroller & the base, and the material she lays on is very soft (you'll find most seats are not soft). Another thing I found is most strollers have dinky, plastic wheels. This stroller goes thru dirt as easy as pavement. There's nothing more annoying than a flimsy stroller! The only reason I gave this a 4 star rating instead of a 5, is bcs we can't seem to find a spare base for my husband's car. I've looked everywhere I know to look and can only find extra bases for different makes (like the Eddie Bauer "Endeavor"). Based on everything else about the product, it's definitely a 5-star.Eddie Bauer Adventure Travel System - Franklin
