Edsal 60&#34 Bench —

The work top is beautiful & super sturdy. I received this a week ago and put it together today. I wanted a good sturdy bench that can be bolted to the floor since I will use it for reloading and operating the press causes a lessor bench to jump around. I like the metal edge around the work top. It will keep small items from rolling off and getting lost.

Unfortunately, shipping costs can be high. I live on the West Coast and it cost me $200 in shipping. It came with an extra stringer, a surplus of nuts and bolts, and a shortage of the wood screws for the top. The top is supposed to be pre-drilled, but it wasn't. The instructions are really poor and almost useless. I ended up looking at the pictures and just figured out how to assemble it. One problem is most of the instructions assume you have a metal top which is assembled differently from the wood. The instructions are also for about fifteen different configurations and I never found my model number. Also, be careful when torquing nuts. I twisted the heads off of a couple of bolts. Fortunately, I had plenty. The legs have a place for a duplex power outlet on each leg, but there is nothing to cover the back. I will probably mount a strip to the wall behind the bench.

All-in-all, I think this is a great bench!
