Great little vacuum!

I have finally learned - you get what you pay for!  And this vacuum is worth it.  It's compact, lightweight, quiet, and it does a great job.  A couple tiny quirks - I'd like it if the light on the power head stayed lit if I am working on bare floors and have turned the power head spinner off.  And...

Awesome vacuum with awesome suction. Extremely quiet. Goes from carpet to hardwood with no problem. Air smells clean coming out of the vacuum regardless whats in the bag.

My beloved old tank style Electrolux Ambassador needed a part I was told was no longer available so I comparison shopped and found this newer lightweight "Oxygen" Hepa filter tank Electrolux that is so easy to move around and has the two most often used tools stored in the hose handle that I can interchange easily while cleaning. Other brands seemed to have copy-cat features but they don't work or store as well. The tank is relatively smaller and lighter than others but has VERY powerful suction. To me, the functionality and graceful design is genius - it makes vacuuming a graceful sport....

Hose is a problem. I had a cheap Hover for 25 years, the hose never kinked. The attachments with natural hair are a real plus for wood floors. This is why I bought the unit.

So far I really like my new Electrolux.  I like that the head swivels making it easy to steer, and it is almost like it is self-propelled.  It keeps all the dust inside.  Suggestions I would have for the company would be for a little heavier hose and for it to have a 360 degree swivel at the vacuum machine, which is what I was used to with my Sears.  But, I am very happy with my purchase.

I originally bought the electrolux canister, but it kept kinking up on the hose. The hose does not spin at the base. I returned it and bought a kenmore canister but there was definately a difference in the suction. I went back and decided I could live with the hose of the electrolux. My new electrolux does not get kinked....it must have been a defect in the first hose. So far so good!

I have always had a kenmore canister vacuum and loved it. When it finally got worn out my husband went out and bought me the Electrolux canister vac. It is a great vacuum. I love how well it picks up and I love using the attachments on my kitchen and hardwood floors. I did say the other day I wish it had a longer cord and my old vacuum had the on/off on the handle and I really miss that option but other than that I love the vacuum and I have recommended it to my parents.

I have a dog, so the first bag I removed from my vacuum was full of my dog's hair.  It does a super job and is so light to carry and so very quiet, too.  I love it; it cleans better than any other vacuum I have had since my 70's gold Electrolux Super J.  I have tried others and I will tell you Electrolux is still the leader today in cannister vacuums as it was back when I started using them back when I lived at home with my parents.  I have asthma, so I need the best.  I highly recommend this sweeper for anyone who truly wants a clean house!

When my back problems got worse I had to get rid of the heavy upright vacuum I had been using (plus it was old and in need of replacement anyway).  This is my first canister vacuum and I must say I am pretty impressed.  It is very quiet.  You can have a conversation while it's running.  I have two dogs so it's good with picking up the pet hair.  And the switch on the handle which allows me to go from carpet to bare (wood) floor is just awesome.  The filter makes it very clean smelling as well.  You can disengage it at the top of the handle to add the attachments, or use a foot switch near...

Love it overall!  Great power, especially with the power head.  I like the light on the power head and also the retractable cord makes it easy to put away without a long cord to coil up and stow.  It is quite a bit quieter than other vacuums I have had in the past.  Pulls along easily, the only thing I have found to be negative is the handle placement-when you grab it to pick up the vacuum, for the stairs for example, it's very easy to hit your knuckles on the canister the way it swings when you lift it by the handle.  It needs an automatic stop mechanism before you smack your knuckles ;0)...

Great vacuum. I did a thorough comparison with other vacuums available at retail department stores and this one came out on top at its price point. This vacuums suction is comparable to the Dyson DC28 but is far less noisy, easier to use and in my opinion has a better build quality and feel. The Oxygen offers a lot of simple options that make it very easy to use. The telescoping quick detachable wand, in handle nozzle attachments and hideaway retractable cord are nice refinements that make vacuuming less of a task. The canister is light, compact and therefore great for stairs. The power brush head...

I have been through a lot of vacuum cleaners and I don't know why.  I have bought wind tunnel (I'll never buy that one again) and several others and they just don't do the job and then they break.

This is so much fun to use.  It is quiet and if you have pets it is a must have!  No other vacuum cleaner I have had has gotten up pet hair like this one.  I have a Keeshond and 2 cats, and friends tell me my house looks like I don't have pets!

This is pricey, but is well worth it!

AMAZING

This vacuum cleaner is wonderful.  We went to Sears on Saturday to buy the dyson.  After the wonderful sales rep said I needed to try the Electrolux and compare it with the dyson.  I must say I was SHOCKED.  The Electrolux made perfect lines while the dyson was hard to handle.  The Electrolux is light, easy to move around especially when vacuuming stairs.  The on board attachments are handy.  This product cleans the air. I have 2 dogs and I could not believe the amount of hair it sucked up.  There are no CONS for this item!!
