This little vacuum is sleek looking and does a fantastic job! After I bought mine I purchased one for my mother - she loves it too. The only problem I'm having is finding the filters for this vacuum -- even the electrolux website doesn't carry them.

We purchased this to use on our kitchen floor and hardwood floors. I have a bird so wanted something that would pick up bird seed. It was a godsend!
However, the battery is NOT replaceable and when dies, you have to replace the entire thing. That was very disappointing.

This vaccuum has a great look and is portable and easy to use. But NOT worth the price!! We have had the vaccuum for 6 months and recently purchased a Hoover Mach 3 for less because the Pronto could not do the job.*and we have very little carpet* It has to be emptied constantly and doesn't pick up much of anything. We tried to but a filter at the store and order it over the phone through Sears and they told use that part is no longer offered. We would have to go through the company itself. I bought one for light pick-up between major vacuuming and find that it works so well, I'm buying a second one for upstairs! Our house is relatively large yet this little stick vac is quick and so easy to use. I do agree that it is worthless close to the baseboards, but the little pull out on the hand-held unit works fine. Also the filter has a small tear after only about 3 weeks of use (I was looking for a replacement) but otherwise I LOVE it!!!!! I vacuum a lot more because it's so easy to use. Can't wait to see what Electrolux comes up with in the next stick vacuum.
I am returning this vacuum for the second time. The first time I tried to return in they said it could be fixed. They sent me a new one. Now it's broke for the second time in 6 months. It's going back. It is terrible at picking up more than 7 crumbs. The hand falls off because the screw strips out. It is now duck taped on. The spinning brush is very wimpy and only works on really low carpet, and only picks up large objects on hard surfaces. Oh yeah, it's really cool looking.
Bought this vacuum assuming elecrolux meant quality and for it's convenience. We have mostly tile and hardwood floors. This vacuum has been a useless waste of money. It picks up NOTHING! II gave up on it and now it sits in the corner gathering more dust than it could ever clean.
I have had this product for about two years. I love it.
I have low pile carpet, barefloors, and tile in the kichen.
It picks up everything. The key is to remember to empty after each room so it dosen't clog up. It is lightweight and works well.
Recently I had to order a new filter. Other than that no other parts have had to be replaced.
I would highly recommend the pronto!!

I bought this product for myself and loved it, and was so excited about it, I bought two more for gifts. Well, the sweeper part of mine broke within a year and then the one for my son broke the same way. Not sure about the 3rd one. The feature of the dustbuster is great and that still works, but I wanted to the sweeper too! I would look for another product.
I use my Electrolux every day in my home. It is lightweight but has great pick up power and cleans the carpet and my ceramic tile. It get in small places with ease and has been a great product to have. When time is short, as it usually is, I can use my Electrolux to run thru the house and my floors look great.
I HAVE SEARCHED FOR A LONG TIME FOR ONE OF THE "STICK VACUUMS". I HAVE READ MANY REVIEWS. I FOUND THIS ELECTROLUX ON SALE FOR ONLY $29.00. TAKING IN ACCOUNT THAT IT IS A WELL KNOWN BRAND. I FIGURED, "WHAT THE HECK, I'LL TRY IT". BIG, BIG, MISTAKE. FIRST OFF, THE COLLECTION CONTAINER HOLDS APPROXIMATELY A TEA CUP FULL OF DIRT. WHICH MEANS THAT IT MUST BE EMPTIED EVERY FEW MINUTES. IT DOES NOT DO EDGES WELL AT ALL, NOT ANY BETTER THAN MOST VACS. YOU STILL HAVE TO DO THEM BY HAND. AND THAT IS MY MAIN REASON FOR GETTING A SMALL VAC. TO DO THE EDGES IN MY HARD WOOD FLOOR KITCHEN. I love this vacuum! It was just what I was looking for, worth every penny! It neatly tucks away out of sight but easy to use in the charger against my wall for those quick vacuum times.
It's great on the hard wood floors and on throw rugs in the kitchen it doesn't grab the rug while vacuuming it, which is a feature I love, but removes the cat and dog hair.
The removable hand held vac is wonderful to take out to the car and use it there. It's so light weight I use it each day and it gets the job done.
I am just about to buy my third one. Which sounds like the product doesn't work but that is not true. With three kids I use mine several times a day and I have about 2000 square feet of hardwoods and tile. So it is not that they don't work, it is that I wear them out. I get the product warranty so that I can get it replaced because after 6 months the suction using the stick is not as good. Using the hand held part is still great though so I will keep it and use it for small jobs. I do wish that it had more battery life. I can not clean all my floors at one time because the battery runs out. Over...

Having a child and two cats, we were in the market for a cordless vacuum that could handle the occasional spills and hair accummulations without having to drag out the big unit everyday. We came across the reviews for this product while doing an Internet search. We liked the idea that it was an upright and that the vacuum separates from the stick. It is lightweight and sturdy, and it does a great job on hardwood floors. We were surprised that it even worked well on our rugs! If you're looking for something to use strickly on your hardwood or tiled floors, then you've found it. This little vac is cute and works very well on my hardwood and tiled floors. It has a great little base charger and doesn't take up much space. It's light weight and easy to push around.
However, it doesn't work well on my rugs. They aren't particularly thick rugs either - just your normal throw rugs and runners. The vac struggles to pick up dirt and dust from the rugs. Not at all what I expected from Electrolux! I have read some really ... REALLY good reviews ... and along with Electrolux's name I just "knew" this was by far the "superior" product. Boy was I wrong!!! I believe they are on their way to a good start and have some great ideas ... but the actual PERFORMANCE is LESS than desirable. The things that I liked in their "description" which brought me to purchase was the detachable hand held vac. Really cool. But you have to hold the button the entire time to operate. Don't understand this one. Now I DO REALLY love that 180 swivel head and that awsome red...

The base it sits on is great. No problem keeping the plug from falling out like other cordless vacs I've had. It's always charged and has great suction power. Terrific for every day spot cleaning.
