“Don't Be Fooled by its Look. Bad Machine. Bad Company”

Bought the matching washer and dryer in Stainless. “It needs more water!!!”

This review is for the Electrolux Wave-Touch steam washer EWFLS65IXX series. 

It's a great machine but you can save four hundred bucks by buying an IQ-Touch instead. There is nothing a Wave-Touch can do that an IQ-Touch can not. The Wave-Touch has 4 distinguishing features over the IQ:

1. The Wave spins at 1350 vs. the IQ's 1200 rpm. No big deal. I don't think there's any practical difference in the amount of water extracted that will make a real dent in the drying time.

2. The Wave has an "Active Wear" cycle. It's not something you'd ever miss if your machine did not have it in the first place....

“Turns your WHITES GRAY”

This is the worst washer I have ever owned. Turned all my whites gray. This washer rinsed every load with a deep silver gray hue, All clothing color was changed after coming out of this unit. Multiple repair men couldn't find the issue. Had to replace most of my clothing do to the fact I could not remove the dye, even with bleach. Clothing came out still smelling and stained. Had to multi-wash loads, sometimes taking over four hours to "clean" a load. This unit does not wash with the proper amount of water and is incapable of removing oder from clothing, even items spot treated. “Best Washer!”

I had never had the front load washer/dryer before. This is an amazing machine. My clothes have never looked better, or smelled fresher. I have told several people about this, and three people bought washers just because they saw mine.  I would definately recommend it.

“Excellent Buy”

Silent: You can hear the water going into the unit (moreso pipe noise than washer noise) Unit is silent during operation. You can *barely* hear the clothes tumbling for the duration of the wash cycle. Stability: I purchased mine with the pedestals, unit is exceptionally stable on my wood floors (raised) which I didn't get with my previous washer. Cost Savings: What you pay for the unit, you will get back in energy/water savings if you have a top loading machine. “Really Happy with Purchase”

I absolutely LOVE this washer. We did a lot of research before buying and were a bit leary because this was so new to the US market. The quick wash cycle works great. I really like the fact that the drum light up because I can see if anything gets left behind. The capacity is fantastic...fits an oversized king comforter no problem and gets it clean. It is quieter than my old top loader even on max spin. The clothes come out much dryer than my old washer and dry in less time in my old dryer. We also loved the fact that there is a 30 day guarantee at Sears which made me much more willing to try this... read full review »

“5 stars”

Again this is by far the best washer I've ever had. It is super super quiet (most of the time you don't even know its going!), has a high load capacity, gets clothes truly clean with minimal wear and tear. The LED lighting is another plus, no more stray soggy socks. And the best part is the short cycle time. The my favorites setting makes it easy for my kids to do their own laundry and the self cleaning soap dispensers mean no more sticky soap build up. An added bonus is that it's energy efficient. Bottom line I love my Electorlux set, and you definatly get a big bang for your buck.
