Easy to work with

I got this as a present and I love it ! It was so easy to charge and while doing so was able to program all of my favorite songs. I use it everyday for my workout and my daily walks and has been great . The sound is just right for me . Well worth it and the price is great, especially in this economy!!!... read full review »

Not User Friendly!

I bought one of these, was on sale for only 29.99, a GREAT deal at that price, but I would not pay any more than that.. Pros: Screen is very nice, bright and colorful. Has built in speakers (great for work) Plays Mp3, Videos, Text, Photos Seems to be built well Holds a lot of data Expandable memory Nice program to convert video files Can display TEXT, Video, & photo files Cons: User interface is TERRIBLE (very confusing and not simple) Has to charge via USB only! No user accessible battery Touch controls sometime don't 'feel' your touch Battery life is not great. Speaker distorts (if turned up... read full review »

It doesn't do what I want; short battery life

I bought it to replace my SanDisk which doesn't play videos, and I couldn't afford the Sony. The screen is big, the display is nice, and I like listening to music through the speaker in the back. Unfortunately, I can't change the order of songs played. I can play songs on my SanDisk player by title or artist, but the Element is weird. It only plays songs alphabetically, (Title A, Title B, etc.) but if there is more than one song by an artist, it plays all of their songs before playing the next alphabetical tune (Titles A - C, "A Day in the Life" by The Beatles, all Beatles songs D-Z, other Title... read full review »

Not worth the money

Purchased two of these for my children. Both will not store or play any music. Text does not work on both. DVD program provided only worked for one. My SD memory card will not work in them as stated. The only function that works is the photo storage. (does have a nice picture image) but that is the only thing that works on it. Would not recomend....... Will be returning mine asap...

Excellent for the price

I received one of these from my GF today for our Solstice gift-giving celebration. During the 4 hour charge-up time, I loaded pretty much the entire 2GB of capacity with albums and miscellaneous songs - about 25 albums worth of songs, and have spent hours since then listening to music in various EQ settings, on shuffle and sequential play, switching around between folders and basically having a blast. The volume doesn't quite go loud enough for my 40 year old ears, but it really does achieve a good balance - it goes just loud enough that the headphone speakers (I can't wear earbuds, my ear canals... read full review »

i baught a element mp3 player,it has alot of function's and i had no problem reading or understanding the instruction booklet, it was pretty easy to understand the functions of the player. it has everything a person could need except a phone. you can listen to music, play video movies, and it has an extra memory slot for more gigs (microsd card slot).

okay mp3

I got it for christmas and i thought the advertising could be better. i understood it as a touch screen MP3. The buttons are a little touchy and a little off key. I thought it would work on my 98SE but it didn't it must only work on a 2000 windows. for a beggining MP3 its okay. I like it 50/50.
