Empire Basin Wrench

I'm a do-it yourself kinda person and just bought a house. The kitchen faucets were the original and needed to be replaced. Coudln't get them out with the normal tools and found this wrench at my father's suggestion. Wow! I had no problems getting those old rusty bolts off and fitting the wrench into the tight area under the sink. I'll never try anything else! Well worth the trip to Sears to get it!

You know how some sinks make it almost impossible to get at the underside of the faucets? We've got one of those in our bathroom, and I tried everything I could imagine before I gave in and bought the tool designed specifically for that task. And, am I glad I did!

This tool makes quick work of hard-to-reach faucet fasteners, reaching into narrow spaces and turning them with relative ease. The head swivels and grips on its own with a spring-action jaw that clamps against the fastener. The handle also telescopes from 9.5" to 17", giving plenty of flexibility and extra reach when it's needed.

Basin wrench

Save yourself a lot of frustration - get a basin wrench BEFORE you tackle the faucet replacement. This is an elegantly designed tool that does one thing and does it very well - it makes removing and replacing faucet hex nuts easy in tight spaces.
