Have you ever checked out the blog section of this site? There are always some terrific, descriptive reviews about the latest games. I am not a gamer, but, I know lots of people find them informative and fun to read. Here is the latest: http://blogs.mysears.com/2009/06/e3-a-new-hope-electronic-arts-press-conference.html Check back often-there seems to be a new one every couple of weeks!

I just played through Mass Effect again, to gear up for the release of the sequel early next year. I'm also addicted to Civ IV, and am eagerly awaiting the new Monkey Island games.

And a random thought: I wonder why K-Mart stores do not carry PC games? I think that's lame.

I've submitted the request for Modern Warfare 2 for pre-order and nothing came of it. Its the biggest entertainment marketing campaign ever made. It will sell a lot of copies and outdo any prior video game or movie... so it seems silly not to offer this game and its editions on the website for pre-order.

I have a ton MMORPGs that I currently play (all of which are free to play) Perfect World Online, Anarchy Online (though I haven't logged in in ages), Red Stone Online, and FreeRealms (obviously I have ALOT of space on my hard drive lol)

I am looking forward to playing Dungeons and Dragons Online (which is going to be Free to play starting Sept 9th), and LinkRealms (also free to play

I also play the facebook games, Mafia Wars, YoVille, FarmVille, FarmTown, Streetracing, and occasionally Vampire Wars :)

Used to play Star Wars Galaxies, Everquest until we couldn't afford the monthly fees :( (darn the economy lol)

aynfarika, sounds like you would like Evony, check it out. It's a free MMORTS my friend forced me to play. Not too shabby to kill some time here and there. (And if you sign up you can find me on server 9)

Personally, i've bounced back to playing Railroad Tycoon 2 Platinum a lot. When Steam puts up a pack of old and new games at a good price, its hard to resist, after all.

I'm also going through about my hundreth playthrough of Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines. The community made patches that come out basically every month just keep getting better and changing the game for the better, and of course making me have to play it again!

I've heard of Evony Im not really a big fan of RTS games though I am more into the rpg type of game heh. Is it browser based or do you need to download a client for it?

As an edit to my previous post I do play Star Wars Galaxies Online but it is the pre-CU version *free* (prior to the combat upgrade patch that basically ruined the game for most players).

O' let me see I love Quake II and have played it from the beginning and still play w/ LOX mod. There's older games that I'd love to get working again like F15 Strike Eagle III and F117A. More resent I play Doom3 and the Orange Box.

Mostly Tomb Raider, as I don't get alot of time to play, it takes a while to finish.

LOVE the Ace Combat series, as well as Soul Calibur.

Even found myself going "retro" with emulators, so I don't have to pull my old consoles, and games, out of the storage closet.

Favorite classic, Pitfall II: Lost Caverns.

The Atari 5200 version (Adventurer's Edition) actually has a whole second cavern, in addition to the one normally played in the 2600 or 7800 platform.

One beauty of PC emulation is Save States.  No more "you finish, or you don't", when it comes to gameplay...

I have to say I am also looking forward to playing the free MMORPG Karos Online which is is going into closed Beta this week (they are still acceping beta apps on their site).

Also counting down the days to play Dungeons and Dragons online on Sept 9th when they go free to play. Woo Hoo!

Some people take WoW way too seriously.  I work with some people that play it, and it's all they do.  They work, go home, order takeout for dinner, and play until midnight.  I can't imagine living like that, especially with kids.

I play multiple games but not all the time, I usually play with my husband although he's more into first person shooters like Halo, we found common ground on Unreal Tournament 2004 and DnD Online hehe. We don't have kids but we don't play games 24/7 as we do have family and work.

Ahhh DnD.  That takes me back.  I didn't know you could play online, is it sort of like WoW online?

I have never played WoW, can't afford the monthly fee that goes along with it, so I have no idea.

DnD used to be pay to play and they recently changed to Free to play with a roll out date of Sept 9th. I played the trial and completely enjoyed it very immersive with impressive graphics.

FFXI, but thinking of closing my account out because I'm so far behind and my work schedule sucks now with my new job..

Mabinogi, because it's free and I'm a sucker for Anime style RPGs..

Jedi Academy, because I'm a Star Wars geek and we're a semi-roleplaying order(We have Jedi Trials and such but we also have a casual atmosphere) Visit us at our website at   www. aof-clan .net

Otherwise I'm mostly an Xbox360 guy, solo RPGs are my thing. Huge Square-Enix fan, and I love the "Tales of" series.

@aynfarika: Tried Perfect World back when it was closed beta, and it crashed more than the Kiosks at my store when i worked for Sears lol.

I didn't really like the gameplay, reminded me too much of WoW or Silkroad Online.. But maybe I'll give it another try.

I'll def. check out those websites though, thanks :)

I played closed beta of Perfect World International and didn't experience any crashes.

Now when I played the Korean version (not the international version) there were so many problems that I could write a book lol.
