“Excellent Ceiling fan”

This the very first fan I've ever bought. It is also the first ceiling fan I've ever installed. At first it seemed huge, but now we're used to it and we (the wife and kids) love it! It is so simple to install and easy for us to reach (I used the short down rod) that I am going to get one more for the living room. I did not install the remote system because the remote console that goes in above the mount was too big for the outlet in the ceiling. I live in an old house if that makes a difference.
