I wanted a white desk for my laptop computer that I use in the back of my house because I can look out the back sliding doors to watch birds and golfers and white goes with my decor. My office was too confined and not as good a view out the windows. I didn't need much, just enough for my laptop computer. The assembly is very easy if you lay out all the parts and hardware in order after identifying them on the instructions. We bought this desk for our 8 year old daughter. It was easy to put together and looks great. We have had it for over a year now and it has held up very well. It still looks new and it has been used heavily. The keyboard drawer can stick sometimes, but since she doesn't have a computer, this is not an issue. I am purchasing another one this Christmas for my 4 year old who wants a big desk like her sister! Great value - I have shopped around for others, and I am choosing this one again!
I bought this desk for my 11 year old daughter and we are happy with it. Perfect size, sturdy and practical. Searched for something like this and found it here for $40. Wasn't difficult to put together, doesn't wobble and has two good sized shelves. I recommended it to my sister for her son (in wood color) and to everyone.
I have a very small space and this desk is just perfect. I am careful with my things so I expect this desk to last a long time. You can't beat the price.
This desk is a very good desk. You get what you pay for, plus more. The putting together of it was not the easiest, but that was only because of faulty tools. Once we got past the broken black piece that held a leg together, it was smooth sailing. So far, it is a great desk. It is very sturdy, complies with what I need out of a desk. Great desk, and worth the money.
I bought this for my 10 yr. old daughter so she could have her own place to do homework in her room as well as a place to draw and keep her art supplies. She loves it and it looks great in her room. It is very sturdy. The keyboard tray slides in and out with ease and the desk was a snap to put together. She doesn't have a computer, so we're using the top right hand space for books and use a basket for storage on the bottom as suggested in another review. I really think we will get several years out of this desk. The only thing I fore see is the trim around the top edge of desk possibly coming undone...

I just got my desk today, while it was not very easy to put together it didn't take too long. I have my laptop on it right now, as well as my printer. I like it very much, it serves it's purpose. I however, would not recomend this desk for desktop computers, it is not a very heavy duty desk.
I bought this desk for my 15 year old grandaughter. The instructions were not thourgh and hallf of it was wrong. When we went to put it together the screws and holes didn't line up. We finally got it together after we moved the screws so they finally worked and once we got everything together it was very wobbly and the sides keep popping off. We are NOT happy with this product and plan on taking it back as soon as possible. We are no longer going to buy any more Essential Home products.
My daughter has limited space in her room and this desk worked great. It was simple to put together and really has helped with keeping her organized during school. It fit in a small window area and has worked out well! We bought white and then some of the cloth contaniers to put on the shelves!
I bought this desk for my daughter's computer and we love it. It was very easy to assemble and it is very sturdy. I would definately recommend this product. Instructions are very easy to follow.
