“great for the price”

I wanted something that would contrast in my dining room, without costing me an arm and a leg. I have growing children and they are extremely hard on furniture. I have been nothing but pleased. I wanted something inexpensive that would withstand the daily use we give it. i have been very pleased.

“Nice looking ”

I'm just giving these chairs a 3 star because they are just average chairs.  We've had them for a year and do have to fix a crossbar on one of the chairs because it has fallen out of the peghole.  However, we bought them just to have additional chairs to add to our oak dining room set.  For $30 a chair, I'm not really complaining.  I'm happy.   The chairs are a nice compliment to the oak dining set.

“They look great, but really poor quality”

I have to agree with many of the reviews here. I've had four of these chairs almost 2 years and all of them are wiggly and wobbly. One broke within a month and we exchanged it and now they are all getting loose. I love the table and the bench, but these chairs just aren't going to last. I'm thinking of taking my old (50+ years) chairs and stripping and painting them to match this table. I'm really disappointed.

“You get what you pay for”

I purchased 6 chairs and the matching table. Chairs were sticky with glue and the paint chips extremely easy. (Keep a black marker handy)I have a feeling that chairs will get wobbly within a short time. But for 25.00 a chair what do you expect ??? I wish I could just have this in my dining room to look at and not use everyday. Because it is a stunning set if you don't have to use it daily.

“Be careful”

Be careful, these chairs look great and worked well with my existing table; but they are not made very well. About a month after we purchased 4 chairs, two of them had broken legs, right at the base of the seat. Not something you can fix, because they are only glued in. Other then that thay look good, but not very sturdy construction.

“Not Happy...”

I purchased 6 chairs and the matching Farmhouse table about a year ago. I have 1 good chair left. All the others have either broken legs or the dowls on the backs have come out. These are NOT repairable and I am out a lot of money. We have tried every glue imaginable, screws, and nails. Nothing fixes them. Think twice before buying these. They look great but are not functionable.

“Windsor Chairs”

This is a very pretty set. The table is sturdy and just beautiful. But, the problem was when we opened the boxes for the chairs. We purchased 4 chairs (two to a box) I ended up only wanting to keep 1 chair!!! 1 chair was of rating high 3 to possibly 4 stars. The other chairs, wow!! I immediately put one back in box it's spindles were not even completely in back of chair and left not painted black and on the bottom it was split in the wood in a piece when it was assembled obviously (like pressure split with hitting / pushing). “Good looking, not very strong”

they match the table we got from kmart and look very good together as a set, but they are already wiggling after a few months use, not sure how long they are going to last. wish they had better quality chairs to choose from that matched the table, it is perfect for our needs

“Farmhouse Windsor Chair”

I saw this dining room set on sale at my local KMart and fell in love with it, but before I bought it I checked out the reviews. Most people loved the table and the bench but I noticed the poor review of the chairs because of all the glue that was left on the legs etc. Sure enough the chairs I saw at our local store were the same and looked sloppily made. I got them any way thinking I could fix them up and sure enough my husband noticed the thick film seemed waxy. “Great Chairs”

I did read the other reviews about the chairs having glue on them. They do have a wax like residue on the legs of the chairs. For the price, however, it is worth the effort to clean them up. They come pre-assembled. All you have to do is open a box, take them out, clean them up a little, and you have wonderful chairs for a great price.

“Chair quality less than rest of the dining pieces in collection”

We spent months looking for a quality kitchen table set and the prices of course are very high on such furniture... I came across this set - on a great sale ( table, bench, and 4 chairs we purchased) about 7 months ago and we have been very happy with it!! It is all real wood, which was a must, and the color is beautiful. I had looked at similar styles, in furniture stores... tons more expensive and I don't think that they are any 'better' than this one! These chairs go perfectly with my home essential table. They are low in price and gives you the option of how many you want.
