Facebook was started in the early 2000's and became mainstream around 2005 by guys who imagined everyone in the world would have a profile. As the goal reaches parity, we have the current iteration of facebook. I do not like this site because it is a confusing mess and does not help me out where I need it most. I like contacts, contact information, and real things about people stored for me to use when I need it. Facebook is more like your literal college facebook with everyones personal life attached. I do not care for photos and the news updates and so this is not my kind of site to spend time with. I much rather enjoy the smaller sites like MySears.com with a focus toward a goal or gives users considerable influence on the future of something like Sears.
