This tire is very very noisy and makes the steering feel heavy and sluggish. I'm a bit confused because other reviews were very good and the description says a quiet / comfortable ride. My experience with Sears was great and the price was incredible, so it's not like I'm lashing out here...I always go...

Very quiet, smooth ride, awesome in the wet. Can not comment on snow or ice yet but first 8k miles have been great. Due to softness of compound, very sensitive to alignment so make sure alignment is spot on if you want max treadlife. Have had 6 other brands on this car and these are best so far and price/value can't be beat.
Great tires when I first purchased them in April of 2005. Since, Ihave put about 25,000-30,000 on these tires and the tread is gone. I am disappointed that I spent $400 eighteen months ago to only spend $500 on better tires today. I would never buy Falken tires again.
I can't really comment about dynamic preformance due to the fact these tires are on a family sedan which is not driven aggressively. My complaint is that they are worn to the wear bars in 25K miles and I expect more durablitiy.
I bought my first set of these tires for my Lexus 2 years ago...they were quiet, smooth riding, and have lasted 40,000 miles. No complaints! Now its time to buy a new set of Falken Ziex's and I will buy them again in a heartbeat.
The dealer had installed Firestone Potenza's on the car initially, and the road noise began at about 8,000 miles and increased as the tires wore. After only 18,000 miles, it was time to replace the Potenzas. I wasnt going to choose that tire again. I researched and researched. There were some strong recommendations for the Falken Ziex's, so I decided to try them. At $80...

I thought I would have to pay a lot for performance tires until I found these. I had replaced my Bridgetones after 30000 due to wearout. These Falkens are quieter, and according to other reviews I've read, also excellent on mileage. And the price was perfect!
