We bought this seat for our daughter and it was absolutely comfortable for her...for the first month and a half. A friend purchased this item as a gift for my first daughter. We fell right in love with it. If there was a papasan with the same design for adults..I woud buy it. It's very soft and soothing for your little. It came pretty much assembled and it's easy to move from one room to another. The cover is really easy to come off to wash.
All this does is vibrate and play very light music. It should not be called a "bouncer".
I bought this to match the swing and it was a cozy seat but it does not bounce and my daughter didn't enjoy it at all. If I would of known it didn't bounce I would not of registered for this seat.
This was an awesome seat. Unfortunately the name can be misleading it actually does not bounce, but it does vibrate and has very soothing sounds. It is very soft and comfy and is great for your newborn to nap in so they can be near you wherever you may be. One of my best buys.
My son is almost three months old and loves this bouncer. We received it as a shower gift and are so glad we registered for it. My son loves the vibration and music as well as the mirror. It would be a little better if the bunny moved as well, but overall a great value. I would definately buy it again!
The first few months of my baby being home I used the papasan alot. The material is so soft and the chair seemed to cradle him. I think it made him feel safe. He has taken many good naps in it.
we were given this model and one of lesser value. although this one was softer and prettier to look at, our child did not like it for long. He is now 3 months old and will not sit in it.
he likes the less expensive one better. maybe because the less expensive one gives a little more bounce than this one.
I would reccommed if your newborn is not as active. Ours seem to like a little more excitement.

my baby liked this chair when she was a new born around 2month she stopped sitting in it it was very cozy for her to fall asleep in but as she got older it did not entertain her i suggust something with toys and thats colorful
I loved this Fisher-Price Papasan Bouncer so much. It was the first thing my son layed in when we brought him home from the hospital. The soothing music and vibrations let him drift off to sleep in a matter of minutes!!
