I loved that the Rainforest baby swing can plug in!  We bought this swing for our second child who had colic and loved that we don't have to worry about the battery dying just when she went to sleep after crying for 2 hours.  It is easy to compact and move to other rooms and light weight considering... read full review »

This is a neat swing-- we really liked the colors and sounds/songs.  But the toy bar ruins the swing.  It goes between your babies legs, and is very wide, so it doesn't work well until the baby is about 3 months old...then they are too big for the swing.  Look for a swing that doesn't go between the...

I loved this swing right away because of the bright colors.  I bought this for my baby even before we found out what we were having.  The colors can be used for both boy or girl. Most of the other swing that I looked at were pastel colors or just very plain.  I liked the swing so much that I did my daughters room in the whole rain-forest jungle theme.  We used lots of jungle animals and tropical flowers, it turned out really cute.  I liked that it rocked side to side instead of back and forth.  That is what the NICU in the hospital said was more relaxing for babies.  I would recommend...

Soothing, and it plugs in.

The first swing we bought used 4 D batteries. My son would not nap without the side to side motion of the swing, and we went through 20 batteries before we gave up on that one.  Those things are expensive!  We upgraded to the Rainforest swing and loved it. It plugs in and it has the ability to switch from side to side motion to back to front.  PLUS, the armiture that holds the mobile/rainforest animals folds up so that you can easily get baby in or out of the swing.  Its a great one for a little baby, but be careful with larger babies, as the motor may not be strong enough.

I must say that this is the second infant swing we've owned, and this is a superior swing! I love how you can adjust the swing direction! And the best feature would be the power adaptor! I'm saving a lot of money by not replacing batteries. I would give this swing 3 thumbs up!!! And recommend it to all my friends/family.

I really love the fisher price baby swing. I use it in my day care center. I can plug it in and I don't have to buy batteries any more, the babies really love swinging in it.

Wonderful Swing

I wanted the best swing for my son.  I love how you can change the direction of the swing.  It has cute sounds and music.  My son enjoyed it and loved watching the birds fly around above him.  Never regreted getting this item.

I love the FP Rainforest baby swing!  It has the option to use batteries or it has a plug that you can plug in!!!  I love this feture!  Batteries are so expensive and these swings eat them up but, with this one you dont have to worry about it!  You can also swing two different ways and I love how colorful everything is.

The Fisher Price Rainforest swing would be an exellent purchase for your baby. It is dual powered(battery and plug in) so it can save you A LOT of money in batteries. My son loved this so much. It is a very smooth swing, front to back and side to side. Also the mobile is tooo cute. It is like a game of peek-a boo for the baby. I would recommend this to anyone. I love it!
