Let me just throw it out there to begin with...the motor in my Starlight Papasan Swing died somewhere between 4 and 5 months of age. I know you are looking at that and then looking at the 5 stars...and probably now getting confused.
My daughter was born with an awesome case of colic...a la extreme. For the first 2 weeks, nothing stopped her. We changed formulas, positions holding her, herbal gas remedies.... Nothing worked. We had a front to back swing that she hated, so finally one day I bought the Starlight Papasan swing.

I have 3 children and have been thru many swings and batteries. This one has been great with our now 4 month old daughter. We had it for when she came home from the hospital. She has always loved it. The lights are great, everything about it has been great. Best of all you don't have to use batteries, and that is a huge savings in itself if you use a swing as much as we do. =)
This looks like an awesome swing and I can't wait for my baby to use it!
I used this swing from the first day I brought my daughter home from the hopital. It reclines almost flat so it is perfect for an infant. The left to right motion helped her sleep.
When she was slightly older she preferred sitting upright and swinging back and forth and this swing did that too.

This product is lovely. It is very easy to put together especially with me being 7 and 1/2 months pregnant. It looks so tranquill and i cant wait to have my baby in it.
