Can someone recommend or share their expierence with Carpet Shampooer's?  The misses is expressing some interest and I have no clue.  Also, recommendations on a good time of year to use said Shampooer.  Thank you.

Hi Jeeper!

We have a really old Bissell shampooer that we use a couple of times a year.  To be honest, the specific time we, personally use it, is right before we have family coming to town.  It makes our rugs and carpets look almost like new.  There is so much deep down dirt in there, and it gets it right up.

I would buy a Hoover shampooer..I have bought my second one they take less time to dry the carpet which is very important. Ask a salesperson the drying times of each shampooer you are interested in.. The hoover depending on your carpet texture should take around 4 hrs to dry. Carpet will dry faster in lower humidity and IF you can keep the windows open so early spring is a good time to clean carpet. But you will use it more than once a year..Good Luck with your shopping..
