LockedHoliday Decorating Stories

Do any of you have any crazy holiday decorating stories?   Like, when your Aunt fell into the Christmas tree, and it toppled over?  Or, the Christmas lights that blew a fuse, right before you were having 20 people over for dinner?

Let's hear them!

Well, we had this Bulldog that had a fantastic ability to nimbly sort through the presents at the bottom of the family Christmas tree, and open only "his own" presents.

The two Yellow labs we have now, can easily grasp and adroitly manipulate ANY kind of wrapped present they're given.

And, now that they're "older", they've learned the value of not DESTROYING their new toys.

They even have a "toy box" that their toys are kept in and that they go to, when they feel like "playing".

That is pretty funny!  When the kids were littler, we had a hard time keeping them away from the lower ornaments on the tree.  We were able to stop any true disasters from happening, but, had a couple of close calls of the tree almost toppling over and on top of one of my kids.
