We just purchased this freezer from a neighbors friend. She has no manual on it and we can not find one. Our questions are what setting is best for it also how long should it take to freeze?

Hi alanam-Welcome to MySears!  You may be able to find a manual at www.managemyhome.com.

There may be a few other members who can help, too.

Always start at the thermostat's mid-point, Usually marked with some sort of arrow, dot, etc.. Allow 24 hours before putting in food to be sure it it working correctly.  Temp should be 0-5F. Adjust thermostat accordingly.

By entering the model number at Parts Direct, normally you can view the manual via .pdf, using Adobe's software.

As this model is older, it is not available in that format.  You do however, have the option of ordering it for $5.55, plus tax, and delivery where applicable.

Enter your model number, and search for the word manual in the dialogue box.
