I would try to double check that nothing is sticking up or the basket hasn't warped and is breaking the seal. Try taking a couple of the basket/s out and be certain all contents are a couple inches blow the top (and that there is no ice up there). Also, I would closely double-check the seal around the top. Has it been cut or closed on something so that there is a permanent dent in it?

Also, make sure the unit is level, without the box being distorted.
