“If you need a room sized Electronic Air Cleaner, this is good ”

I have a Friedrich C90 electronic air cleaner, electric plates fit in my dishwasher (after removing top rack, and carefully moving lower rack tines to avoid the elements of the unit). There is regularly a collection of dust on the plates and on the pre-filter, so I believe it does a good job of cleaning the air in my room. The Friedrich C90 has 3 fan speeds (I keep it on lowest setting to keep noise low) but it is fairly quiet, except when dust strikes the plates, when you hear a "crack" sound as the dust is drawn onto one of the plates.
