“Very Satisfied with Washer”
Frigidaire 3.5 cu. ft. I.E.C. King Size Capacity ENERGY STAR Washer —
I bought this washer because Consumer Reports listed it as a "Best Buy"--an excellent product for much less than most front loaders. I am very satisfied with the cleaning it does, the cycles range from 20-50 minutes, and best of all, I can add a forgotten item. Easy to operate, VERY quiet, doesn't shake. I have both the washer and dryer on pedestals and though I think the pedestals are overpriced, I like the extra storage area and the height they add so I don't have to stoop to get laundry in and out. One thing I discovered was that lighter items might stick to the top of the washer, so I have to look in to make sure I'm not leaving something stuck to the top--which eventually will fall down as it dries in there. The 3.5 size is fine for my husband and me who are empty nesters, but I think if I still had a family living at home I would buy a bigger washer.
