These boots are my favorite for city walking. I live in New York City and walk a lot, so one pair lasts me for about a year and a half, but they are easily resoled by a cobbler. They are good in all conditions, and don't slip in most conditions. The only complaint I have is that these boots tend to vary slightly in size, so it's best to try them on in-store rather than order them online.
My husband loves these boots. The order arrived quickly. They are very comfortable and hold up for quite a long while. This is his 2nd pair.
I bought a pair of GBX Dorado back in 2002 and I still wear them 6 years later. The boots have seen motorcycle trips to 20 states plus plenty of walking. Although their soles are pretty worn out from me dragging feet at stoplights but the leather top still looks great, seams and glue are holding just fine despite all the years of taking heat from exhaust pipes.
These are great boots for walking and riding, I will be buying another pair this year.
I love these boots. I am female and it was very hard to find a sturdy boot in a size to fit me and 7.5 did the trick.
The boots are super comfortable, it didn't take much time at all to break them in. Even before they were broken in they were never uncomfortable.
I work at an animal shelter and they hold up to the job every day. Also my feet never get wet when I go tromping through the rain or snow.
My husband liked the look of the boot so I got him some for Christmas. He wears his with jeans when going out and they look great.
I was glad to find a great fitting boot that was not to heavy. I have a motorcycle and a bad back. i needed a boot that was easy for me to walk in. and ride my bike, this was fine for both. the price was awesome. thanks
