I purchased a lower priced appliance due to my budget and have regretted it ever since. I had to have the knob replaced on this dryer less than one month after I purchased it. It takes over 2 hours to dry a load of clothes no matter how big or small, and now the paint is chipping off on the inside...

When my old GE dryer needed replacing I shopped around and compared and went with a GE again. This dryer is truly Super Capacity and handles large loads quite well. It runs quietly and I love the fact that you can turn of the buzzer or turn it back on easily if you need it. I like all of the setting options and the heat settings seem to hold true to their claims. I am happy I chose a GE dryer again and I hope it will last me as long as my old GE dryer.
After years of dealing with a very loud and inefficient dryer, we decided enough was enough. We needed something that would do the job quickly and quietly. This specific brand has a signal knob that allows you to turn off the buzzer completely. Love that, especially when the kiddos are taking there naps in the afternoons. Extreamly happy on our choice for a GE brand dryer.
This large GE dryer works fine. Lots of choices for drying. Lint filter is adequate. Goes well with the large top load GE washer.
