Since its a GE product (a company that isn't experienced with creating digital cameras) you should't expect too much. I bough this camera from Sears in December because the one I wanted was out of stock and this one was recommended. It was a complete waste of $150. The pictures were poor quality and always blurry. It would NOT stay charged either and was just horrible compared to my last camera, which wasa Nikon CoolPix. I barely used it and then a few months later it just would not turn on or work at all. It was not dropped or anything, it was sitting in a drawer since the last time it did work. Tried everything to get it to work. Don't buy this...
Have had camera about 2 months. First problem was battery drain even when not in use. Put fully charged batteries in (new batteries) and did not use camera for 2 days. When I went to use the batteries were dead. Called GE they gave me a download and reformatted. Did not help and now recently the color is washed out even on landscape setting. Tried to get Sears to let me upgrade to different camera and pay the difference but since it was past 30 days I'm stuck. I even work in Sears...Just glad I didn't buy an expensive item. Did learn a lesson.

After 6 months I have to say this is the best all-around digital camera I have ever owned or used. 1st of all it's way under priced at around $100 so take advantage of it before they figure it out, 2nd with an ISO of 1600 (about twice that of the other cams in the $100-250 range) you can get the picture no matter what the lighting conditions (My new favorite is taking night shots something that is a real test of any camera in any price range), 3rd it is easy to learn and use all the functions and I recommend you do this to take full advantage of the feature packed camera.

I shopped around a lot before actually purchasing my digital camera. and i saw the GE not only was it affordable but it a well known brand that we all trust and know in our households. The camera is very easy to use, its very straight forward. here is zoom and here is how to use it. the picture quality is great. I HIGHLY recommend purchasing NiMh rechargeable AA batteries because it will make battery life longer and allow you to take good pictures. it has a huge screen which i love. allows you to see pictures clear and preview them clearly. but people might say 129.99 cheap so it must not be good...

Very nice, easy to use and affordable. It takes great pictures and has lots of settings. It's a great bargain and I recommend it for any first-time digital user.
I bought this camera for $89.99 which is a great steal. I reviewed different cameras online before buying and couldn't pass this one up. Picture quality is great. All features are easy to use. Even the standard 2 AA batteries has a long life. I did buy rechargeable batteries which I would recommend if you plan on using the camera often. Only worry that I have is the battery compartment. It is plastic which is different from rest of camera. Overall, this is a great camera for anyone that needs a camera at a great price. Would highly recommend.
I was saerching for a digital camera but there are a lot of choices. So when I reviewed the GE7mp digital camera all I can say is WOW!!!!!
my husband doesn't know how to use the computer, but after reding the instructions..it was easy.
My husband now uses it more than I. He looks like a kid taking pictures of everything.
The camera freezes a lot and i have to take out the batteries in order to shut it off and turn it back on. Nevertheless, it's a great camera. It eats up the batteries but that's not really a big deal. Overall good price, good deal.
purchased this camera for my son and his half brother as Easter presents. Excelent camera for 1st time user. very easy to learn on and picture quality is excellent. This camera is a steal at the $100.00 price.
I first got this camera for the price/ mega pixels. But the thing kept malfunctioning, I didn't even have it for 30 days. White screen appears sometimes, then sometimes nothing appears. Battery life gets drained to easily. Horrible product, I would not recommend to anyone.
this is a great camera that is very affordable. It has great picture quality and excellent features. Battery life does not last too lon so i suggest buying rechargable batteries. Overall its a great buy and i highly recommend it :]
