“Very nice unit”

“Good microwave for a low price”

I've been using this microwave for about a month now, and I have to say that I'm pretty satisfied with it.  I really like the auto light on it, and it's reheating features (although the reheat plate feature is a little lacking).  If I could improve one thing about it though, I would like the ability to adjust the location of the rack.  In my opinion it's mounted to low to be of much use when cooking multiple items (e.g. something that should be rotated and have something else above it on the rack also).

“Another Keypad failure”

This microwaves circuit board failed 2 months after the 1 year warranty expired. The repair was almost what a new unit cost.The part for me to repair it myself is $140. Our old microwave lasted 15 yrs. I would expect more then just over a yrs use.Seems this problem is wide spread with this microwave and with other ge appliances with a keypad.

“GE Microwave”

We purchased our microwave in March and installed it about a month later when the area was ready. It is above the stove and fits beautifully. It runs like a dream and we are very pleased with the style, color and performance. We had it vented to the outside of the house and the fan is so powerful it works great!

“GE Microwave”

We were replacing a older GE that was much the same bolted in the same ,even the wall bracket. complaint is the center rack is 2.5"off the bottom with no other locations to put the rack. I guess it not having to remove the rack all the time,to use the plate. so the rack is useless for the most part, we use the revolving plate all the time

“Do not buy”

I bought this microwave about a year ago.  Recently the fan would not turn off and now the microwave keeps running even after it is done cooking.  Of course it is right after the warrenty and for them to come and fix it is the same as buying a new one.  That stinks.  if you decide to get this you might want to get the protection with it.

“LOVE IT!”

First of all, this microwave is beautiful! Even my husband said, "Wow, that's a good looking microwave" when he first saw it installed. I love all the features on it. The stainless steel has a very nice shine without being too shiny. Ladies, if you're updating your kitchen with stainless appliances as we are, this is the microwave for you! It's gorgeous, very reasonable, works great, and has so many high end features. My husband and I love technology related things and all the bells and whistles really are nice on this microwave. I would recommend it without hesitation.

“Easy Install”

Just what I expected! We replaced our previous 6 year old GE (the magnetron died) with this similar model. It used the same wall plate and cabinet hole pattern as our previous model so install was a simple matter of unbolting the old one and bolting in the new one. Took a half hour from starting to open the box, and I like to read all the directions so that I don't miss anything. We've used it for a month and it has all the automatic features we liked on the old one. The exhaust fan is quieter than the old one too! “does the job”

This over the range microwave/vent serves its purpose. The microwave is fantastic with many features and the entire unit has a great, sleek design which looks great in my new kitchen. I haven't turned off the light under the unit in the month I've owned it-it's a perfect night light (either luminance). On the other hand, I use the vent itself as seldom as possible. It's extremely loud-at least much louder than I anticipated for a new appliance. It's very distracting when entertaining so I try to get the cooking/venting done ahead of time so I may shut it off when my guests arrive. Sears was spectacular... read full review »

“Easy as can be”

Believe me, having a hubby who does NOT do-it-himself very often...this over the stove microwave was quite easy to install! Just remind your hubby to use the actual diagrams that they provide, then it will work great! We love our microwave, and it works great. My kids have no problems using it and now, we can get back to the kitchen!

“Second time's a charm?”

Bought one of these over a year ago...circuit board for the keypad shorted-out yesterday...cost to fix it (including inconvenience) would be more than the cost of a new one...so we got a new one (installed it today, 7/3/09)...we'll see what happens and how long this one lasts...

“Beware!!!!”

After about a month after warranty expired, all of the touch buttons failed except the fan button. The clock display failed as well. The repair for it was estimated over $200. Do not buy!

“Excellent Choice”

After 15 years of service, it was finally time to replace our KENMORE Hood Microwave. After much research, I decided on this GE Model. I have had it almost 2 months and am still amazed by how quiet it is, how much space it has inside and convenient the features are. With 2 toddlers and a spouse that loves to cook, we easily use this oven 5-8 times a day. It also made our kitchen look more up-to-date / modern.
