It has a recessed surface to help contain spills. Eliminate space between the burners and the cooktop. Provide a flat, sturdy surface allowing easy movement of pans. Most Helpful Critical Review

“Cheap exterior finish”

I have used this cooktop for approx. 1 month and the exterior finish has scratched easily for unknown reasons. Trying to clean is aggravating. Fingerprints remain and I have used warm soapy water and range top wipes, while buffing with a soft microfiber cloth. Even tried to shine it with Windex. No help.... read full review »

“Good cooktop”

I like this cooktop, I've had no trouble with it and it fits my decor.

“4 stars”

Very easy to install, has a regular power cord and comes with the in-line gas regulator. Easy to clean. Burner grates cover 2 burners at once. There are 2 grates for the 4 burners the picture looks like 4 but really a right grate and a left grate. Color matches Kenmore Bisque and Maytag Bisque.

“GE cook top”

It has a good look with a deep surface, that will catch any spill, i did have one problem with the grates the coating wasnt finshed but called customer support and they sent me out a replacement. have been using it daly with no problems, love the stainless steel look.
