This dryer is outstanding!! I have had nothing but great results from this dryer. I cannot say the same about the matching washer though. If I put the dryer on a setting like "colors", if the load dries before the preset time (eg. 52 minutes) it automatically adjusts itself to the dryness of the clothes....

“Not all it's cracked up to be”

I have this and the matchign washer(worse than the dryer). This sure does have a lot of space in it but if you do put in a full load or the clothes are not rung out REALLY good the clothes often get unbalanced and you have to take everythign out and redistribute them or put in less. “motor issues”

Motor blew 9 months after purchase - still covered by warranty but took 2 months to get 2 more motors installed that did not work and another month to get another dryer - of course all covered by warranty - but is this really what you want to deal with - 2 1/2 months without a dryer.

“Consistent and reliable”

This dryer is wonderful for a small or large family. It will dry a nice load of dark clothes in a short amount of time, yet it can deliver a quick 10 minute speed dry on smaller quantities. I love the fact that you can also throw in the bed pillows and sanitize them in under an hour. Would buy this machine again and would recommed to others.

“White GE Appliances 7.0 cu. ft. Electric Dryer”

This was one of the best purchases I have made. I was not even looking for a new dryer when I purchased this dryer., I just happen to be at Sears at the right time, when this dryer was being offered a very good price that I just could not pass up. After having the dryer delivered to my home and I began to use it, I knew that I had not made a bad decision., This dryer makes me feel like I am at a washeteria., The dryer has a large capacity which can accomodate my comforters even the king size very comfortably and not having to ball it up., The presets are just great for I have many choices to select... read full review »
