“The service at Sears is horrible”

GE Front load Washer —
About 2 months ago my husband and I purchased a Frontload GE Washer and Dryer model # WCVH6400J1WW from Sears. The GE Washer began leaking out the door 7 weeks after purchase. I called GE to schedule service and the technician came out 2 days later and examined the washer for 1 minute and noticed the gasket had a small tear. He told me that the part would take 1 week to come in and the service and part would cost us $474.73. I said "what about my 3 month warranty?" the service guy said it wasn't under warranty. So we didn't know who to turn to but Sears ofcourse. So, my husband called up Sears who said they would send a service tech, out in 2 days. The gasket showed up unexpectedly at my front door in 1 day. So, here we are on 5/14 waiting from 1-5pm for my Sears service tech. to arrive. At 3:30 I called Sears to confirm and make sure he was still coming and they said "be patient". Well, it's now 6:30pm and the service tech. was a no show. We called to check on his arrival and they said he wasn't coming. oh my. They want to reschedule for next Wednesday May 22nd. This is not acceptable. All I can reccomend is to warn future customers never to buy a GE Washer @ Sears for 2 reasons
1. the product is not dependable
2. Both Sears and GE are very unreliable.
