“Profile Microwave”

I Love this microwave. It has sleek design, easy to keep clean. It even has the latest technology. Just add the ounces of meat or whatever needs to be defrosted and it does it perfectly. “Costly repairs”

This microwave replaced the first one which broke down twice in 2 years. The first breakdown was caused by a short circuit in the wiring which was worn by the fan motor. “DO NOT BUY THIS MODEL”

We bought it brand new from SEARS in Apr. 2005 when we re-modeled our entire kitchen. I love the design and function of the microwave, it is one of the best microwaves out there, when it is working. BUT it has broken down so far 5+ times in a little over a year, 3 control panels replaced, it is in the process of replacement under extended warranty. There is a design flaw in this model, where the touch control panel gets shorted everytime something cooking on the stove that releases steam.

“Looks Great...Performs Poor”

This microwave looks great, but does not work great! After 3 months it starting shorting out and then the control panel blew. We are now in the process of buying a new microwave.

“SOOOOOOOOOOOO disappointed”

We replaced our Sharp w/this. It's a very nice unit but it has a mind of it's own meaning it'll work for one plate and then fail the 5 or 6 other consecutive times. It shorts out, period, regadless if stove is being used. Unfortunately, i've never even tried the vent feature b/c I get so frustrated w/it turning on & off. In my designer kitchen I have a small counter top microwave to use (had in nursery for my kids bottles) until i buy a new one which will definitely not be a GE! Checking web shows this particular model has the defect that the whole unit will shut off after a couple of seconds.
