We upgraded our kitchen to stainless. We purchased this microwave with the in wall trim kit. It fits perfectly in the place of my old microwave. It is easy to use and very quite. Cooks evenly. Very large capacity. Compliments my new GE Profile Oven. My kitchen looks beautiful thanks to GE.

I purchased this microwave in August of 2007 (the sticker inside says it was manufactured in March 2007) in Sept 2009 it caught fire. I was warming up a cup of water, heard a pop and looked inside to see flames coming out of the upper right side vent. I called GE and they apologized but said that...

The GE profile seems to be working great. It is big, beautiful and does all things most other more expensive microwaves do. the price was wonderful for me. Large capacity plus strong heat.
excellent, beautiful product. very hot and cooks fast so don't pay attention to package times. too loud is only downside
I like most everything about the microwave. The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is that it is louder when something is cooking than my other microwave.... I would, nonetheless, buy it again despite the noise factor as it functions well....
This microwave is great and it is also huge. You could fit just about anything in it. I think with all new technology some adjustments are necessary, such as getting use to new buttons and programs. But once you get use to that, you should enjoy everything about this microwave!!
Trying to use this thing is like trying to program a camera. I found it very difficult to use and wish I'd never bought it. What a pain in the neck to use! My old microwave was simple and easy. This one is not. I don't want to push four different buttons to reaheat something.
This product failed on the 4th day of use - would light up and spin but no heat. exchanged for a Kenmore Elite - hope I have better luck with it
